Bethel Evangelistic And Rehabilitation Centre is an Indian, Christian National NGO, properly registered Society under the Indian Society Act and recognized by various Government Agencies, Such as the Union Home Ministry in New Delhi, Ministry of Social Welfare, Ministry of juvenile justice, the Income-Tax department and the child welfare committee.
As a registered society, Bethel has a strong 30 member general body members, who elect a Eight members team of “executive board’ members. While the general body meets once in every year, the executive board meets once in every three months and if needed, every week un-officially to discuss, pray and to decide the issues of on going projects of Bethel.
Bethel Keeps relevant books of minute, other prescribed registers by the Government of India. We accept, donations and contributions from individuals and from Christian friends, to operate and fulfill the work the Lord has handed over to us. Account books and receipt books are maintained as un to the Lord and a chartered accountant audits the accounts every financial year and the details are submitted to various Government agencies.
Except the paid staff, all of us volunteers in Bethel and we do not covet any gain or earn any indirect welfare for us.
Know Our Krishnagiri
Bethel is situated in Krishnagiri District of Tamilnadu State of South India. Krishnagiri district is bounded by Vellore and Thiruvannamalai districts in the East, Karnataka state in the west, State of Andhra Pradesh in the North Dharmapuri District in the south. Its area is 5143 Sq. Kms. This district is elevated from 300m to 1400m above the mean sea level. It is located between 11º 12′N to 12º 49′N Latitude,77º 27′E to 78º 38′E Longitude.
‘Krishna’ refers to ‘black’ and ‘giri’ refers to ‘hill’. This district is gifted with black granite hillocks and named as “krishnagiri”.”Paradise” is the most popular multi colored granite available in Krishnagiri. Black granite is available in Hosur and Denkanikottai. Granite processing units, which make slabs of granite, finished and decorated beautifully is located mainly in Hosur surroundings.
The multi coloured paradise slabs are being exported to America, England, Australia and some other European countries in large quantities. This industry is flourishing with the uninterrupted supply of electricity and availability of raw material and land at cheaper rates.
A variety of quartz stones from Denkanikottai and White metal called Limestone from Uthangarai are mined. This District is very famous for Mango Fruits. People of Krishnagiri District belong to various racial groups. People from Kashmir, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Andra have settled in this District. Hence it can be rightly called a Cosmopolitan society. Ancient Art & Culture is preserved and maintained by inhabitants.
Who We Are
Bethel is a Christian Society, with a divine appointment to reach out unto the suffering and sick world, with the love of Jesus Christ. We are Bible based and a Christ Centred Christian Community. The Lord has filled our hearts with His love, to love, unite and fellowship with all like minded Christian brothers and sisters who confess Jesus as the Son of the Living God. We are not either exclusive or an extreem cults. Bethel basically a Mission and Ministry Society to the unreached millions around us. Evangelization, church planting, uniting the Independent Churches under one umbrella, training of Pastors and evangelists, reaching the youth and kids, prayer ministry and preparing the body of Christ for the return of the Lord Jesus are our day to-day activities.
As a compassionate and supportive ministry, Bethel is running an orphanage and a small Vocational training for the welfare and development of the least privileged.
